Outline (in English)
Students will engage in reading the works of Ryunosuke Akutagawa, one of the leading writers of Taisho literature. Students will practice reading works for which drafts, notes, notebooks, and manuscripts remain, as well as for works that have been significantly revised from the original text.
Students will develop the ability to face the material without preconceptions and to take away the richness of information from the material, and will be able to apply the results to their literary research.

授業の概要と目的（何を学ぶか）Outline and objectives
大正文学を代表する作家のひとりである芥川龍之介の作品の読解に取り組む。草稿やメモ、ノート、或いは原稿などの残る作品を対象として、或いは初出本文から大きく改稿を施された作品を対象とした読みの実践を行う。
受講生は、先入観に囚われることなく資料に向き合い、資料の持つ豊かな情報を取り上げる事の出来る力を養い、合わせて、文学研究にその成果を活かす事を目指す。
到達目標Goal
資料を読むための基本的な手順に習熟し、読み解きのための基本的なスキルを身につけ、資料それぞれが有する豊かな情報を引き出し、作品の読解に活用できる。また、その成果を自らの発表や論文で充分に発揮できる。
To become familiar with the basic procedures for reading materials, acquire basic skills for reading and understanding, and be able to draw out the rich information possessed by each material and use it in the reading of a work. The student should also be able to fully demonstrate the results of their reading in their own presentations and papers.

毎回の講義では必ず報告者を立て、その報告を巡って意見を交わし、互いの読みを深める。
なお、発表者は発表の前日15時までに配付資料（レジュメ）をPDFの形でLMSにアップロードし、他の受講者は授業までにあらかじめ目を通しておく。
In each lecture, there will always be a presenter, and students will exchange opinions and deepen each other's readings of the reports.
The presenter must upload his/her resume in PDF format to the LMS by 3:00 p.m. on the day before the presentation, so that other students can read it before class.

課題についての説明。
授業時間外の学習（準備学習・復習・宿題等）Work to be done outside of class (preparation, etc.)
本授業の準備学習・復習時間は、各2時間を標準とします。
受講者は、毎回素材となる資料についての基本情報を得ておくこと。事典等で基本知識を得、自分なりに資料や作品に対するアプローチを考えておくことが望ましい。各自が発表者の立場になり、先行研究等も参照して講義に臨みたい。
