Outline (in English)
The purpose of this course is to help students learn economic concepts in English. By the end of this course, students should be able to read economics textbooks in English. Before/after each class meeting, students will be expected to spend four hours to understand the course content. Final grade will be determined by final exam (80%) and assignments (20%).

英語で書かれたテキストを使い、経済学の基礎的な概念を英語で理解します。Acemoglu, Laibson, and List 著『Economics』のうち、マクロ経済学の基礎を学びます。
到達目標Goal
マクロ経済を理解する上での基礎的な経済指標を英語で理解できる。経済成長や不平等、貧困や失業といったマクロ経済問題について英語で議論できる。現実のデータを使って、マクロ経済状況について理解できる。
