Outline (in English)

[Course Outline]
In terms of environmental policy, this class will focus on both national and international issues and trends.
We will discuss topics including air pollution, the water system, waste and resources, climate change, chemicals, biodiversity, and the SDGs.

[Learning objectives]
At the end of the course, students will have the ability to explain their views on environmental policy using the technical terms and concepts covered in class.

[Learning activities outside of classroom]
Students are required to read the relevant chapter(s) from the text prior to every class meeting. It takes you more than four hours to study for each class meeting.

[Grading Criteria /Policies]
Your overall grade in the class will be determined by the midterm and final exams, which each amount to 25%, and class participation, which will amount to 50%.
The class participation point will be allocated as follows: 20% for homework, 20% for speaking in class and group work, and 10% for reaction papers (This allocation may be modified according to factors such as the number of students attending the class).
