Outline (in English)

【Course Outline】
This subject gives students basic knowledge about the history of socio-economic thought in Europe from ancient to modern times.
【Learning Objectives】
The aim of this subject is to help students acquire an understanding of the social theory in Europe. At the end of the course, participants are expected to explain the essential concepts of each era by own words.
【Learning Activities】
Students will be expected to have completed the required assignments after reading the given textbook carefully. They must submit four assignment reports, each requiring at least 30 hours to complete. When the corrected reports are returned, they read them and check the accuracy of their understanding.
【Grading Criteria /Policies】
Grading will be decided based on the result of the examination for credits. The criterion for evaluation of the examination is the accuracy of understanding of the concepts and ideas required to be referred.
