Outline (in English)
（Course outline）
A literary creator with a rich career who is active with his/her writing in the frontline initiates this class, and the students take up the writer’s works and give research presentations to the writer himself/herself. Through this process, we will develop creative dialogues between the graduate school and the literary creator.
（Learning Objectives）
Through research on the works of the instructor, interviews with the instructor and students' own creative practices based on what they have learned in class, students will experience the process of completing a "book (pamphlet)" and gain a comprehensive and multi-dimensional understanding on the social conditions literary works and literary creators are placed.

Instructions will be given in class as needed.
（Grading Criteria /Policy）
The overall evaluation will be based on the content of the writer's research (30%) and the attitude of the student (70%).

授業の概要と目的（何を学ぶか）Outline and objectives
豊富なキャリアをもちなお第一線で活躍をつづける文芸創作家が授業を担当し、学生たちはその作家の作品をとりあげ作家自身の前で研究発表を行います。それを通じて、授業の場で文芸創作家と大学院による創造的な対話を行います。
到達目標Goal
担当講師が創作発表した文学作品を、担当講師とともに研究することによって作品生成のプロセスを学び、創作へのヒントや作品研究への新しい視点、文学作品や文芸創作家が置かれている社会的状況などへの理解を多角的に、かつ総合的に獲得することを目指します。

ゼミナール形式の研究発表を中心として、必要に応じて講義形式を織り交ぜながら授業を進めます。研究発表では、学生それぞれが作家研究の冊子に寄せる企画を一つ提出しますが、企画には作家研究、作品研究、授業で学んだことを生かした文芸創作、インタビュー、書誌など読み物としての雑誌を構成する記事がすべて含まれます。企画は授業内で発表の上、修正して冊子にまとめます。なおインタビューと書誌作成はかならず行います。

作家研究の内容（３割）、および受講態度（７割）によって総合的に評価します。
