Outline (in English)

Through reading papers on the phonological and phonetic acquisition, students will learn theories and research methods that will form the basis of their papers.

Learning Objectives:
-To acquire knowledge of research methods in second language acquisition and teaching while reading primary literature in phonology and SLA phonology and vocabulary.
-Students will be able to formulate their research plan, conduct research, and produce a thesis.

Learning activities outside the classroom: Students must read assigned papers and prepare for their presentations. Students are expected to study for at least 4 hours outside of the classroom.

Grading Criteria:
In-Class presentations....40%
In-Class participation....40%
Term paper....20%
