Outline (in English)

The basic ability is trained about a research work, investigation method, an analytical method, an analysis method and thesis writing from theme setting to the student who writes a master thesis in hydrology and the land water science field.
The case which is the hydrology field to the student who makes the other fields the center, too, and, I plan for upbringing of basic research capability.
Students who do not major in hydrology mainly learn about the application of regional spatial information analysis using GIS.
・ It is possible to evaluate the physicochemical characteristics of inland water and its fluctuation mechanism, and the causal relationship between the hydrological environment and climate change.
・ Understand the nature of water on the earth that exists in the complex area of the hydrosphere, atmosphere, and lithosphere, and water management in each basin.
・ For various regional spatial information, it is possible to analyze using GIS and create thematic maps using the results.
By picking up themes related to the students' research themes as much as possible, we will discuss the research methods of physical geography with water as the keyword and try to contribute to the improvement of the students' own research. Focus on reading thesis, making presentations by students, and discussing with all. For students whose majors are other than hydrology, classes will be conducted in the same way according to their specialty.
In each lesson, write a summary of the lesson, questions, etc. in the attendance book and submit it, and comment on the contents in the next lesson.
