Outline (in English)
This course covers English-language poetry from the mid-twentieth century to the present. There will be some lectures, but most of the class time will be devoted to students' active participation. Students will receive feedback on their work in class, via Hoppii, and during office hours. The format of this class in a given week could change, depending on the Covid situation. Grades will be determined based on assignments, presentations, and participation (60%) and the final paper (40%).

20世紀半ばから現代までの英米詩を読む。特にアメリカ詩に注目し、現代詩の特徴を概観する。
到達目標Goal
20世紀半ばから現代にかけての英米詩を読み、歴史的背景・文化的背景を学ぶ。 作品の細部を主題に結びつけて論じる力を身につける。クラス全体でディスカッションし、スピーキング力を養う。
