Outline (in English)

《Course outline》 The aim of this class is to acquire a basic knowledge of Noh, learn about the characteristics of its physical expression, and consider the current environment and issues surrounding Noh and its future prospects.
Learning objectives of this class are: 1) to learn basic information about Noh and its body techniques, 2) to think about the meaning of Noh in modern society. Outside of the classroom, students are required to watch a Noh performance at a Noh theater.
《Grading criteria》*Report 30 %. Participation in practical training and viewing of Noh plays 50%. Ordinary marks 20%.
