Outline (in English)

(Course outline)
This course deals with moral nativsim. We will examine criticisms against moral innateism through a close reading of Printz's article “Is Morality Innate?”
(Learning Objectives)
The goals of this course is to help students form their own opinions about the foundations and significance of morality, based on an understanding of the contentious issues between the arguments in favor of the innate and universal nature of morality and those that criticize it.
(Learning activities outside of classroom)
Before/after each class meeting, students will be expedted to spend four hours to understand the course content.
(Grading Criteria /Policy)
Grading will be decided based on the score of translations of assigned sections of the text (80%), plus in-class contribution(20%).
