Outline (in English)

Various global issues such as hunger, poverty, human rights abuses, and environmental destruction are becoming increasingly serious. The role of NGOs, which work for non-profit solutions to these issues from the standpoint of citizens beyond national borders, is becoming ever more important.
In providing assistance, NGOs focus not only on material support, but also on strengthening people's own abilities to reach their potential and to work for self-reliance and improvement by the residents themselves. The purpose of this program is to learn the philosophy and approach of NGO activities from actual examples, to understand the role NGOs play in society and the challenges they face in the future, and to think about what we can do to contribute.
