Outline (in English)

1.Course outline
In our society, many people are employed to work and earn wages to make a living. However, because workers have less bargaining power than employers, they face various difficulties if appropriate laws and regulations are not in place. Labor & Employment Law is a field of law that prevents such difficulties and imposes various regulations so that people can live with dignity.
In Labor Standards Law, students learn about laws and regulations governing working conditions and the development of labor contracts. Since there is a high degree of continuity between Labor Contract Law and Labor Standards Law, it is strongly recommended that students take these courses consecutively as much as possible.

2.Learning Objectives
(1) Students acquire basic knowledge of individual labor & employment law.
(2) Students are able to explain the structure of labor laws to those who are not familiar with individual labor laws and provide guidelines for solving problems in the workplace.
