Outline (in English)

Lectures and practices will be conducted on inspection methods for evaluating load bearing capacity and durability of steel and concrete structures. For steel structures, the main themes will be the introduction of actual inspection equipment and inspection technology and experience of inspection methods through practice using simple devices. For concrete structures, the main themes will be application methods of non-destructive testing equipment used for diagnosis of concrete structures and experience of measurements with actual equipment.
Learning Objectives
As for steel structures, the goal is to get used to inspection equipment through practical training using simple equipment used for inspection of structures.
For concrete structures, the purpose of the class is to understand where and how to apply non-destructive inspection equipment used to diagnose structures, and to experience the actual measurement using the equipment.
