Outline (in English)

Linear algebra is an essential fundamental subject in engineering as well as calculus. This course teaches students the basic mathematical skills necessary to master specialized topics through linear algebra. In the first half of the lecture, students try to understand fundamental concepts such as vectors, matrices, and determinants. In the latter half of the course, students learn essential concepts of linear algebra and concrete calculation methods such as vector space, linear mapping, eigenvalues, eigenvectors, and matrix diagonalization.
Through this course, students will be able to:
1) Understand the significance of learning linear algebra by introducing application examples, etc.
2) Acquire the basics of linear algebra
3) Develop basic mathematical skills through exercises
The standard preparation and review time for this course is 2 hours each. Students are expected to deepen their understanding before the next lecture if they need a sufficient understanding at the end of the course. The final exam will be given at the end of the lecture (100%). Grades will not be given to students who have not taken the exam.
