Outline (in English)

(1) To understand the history of the formation of Judaism and Christianity through the analysis of the Old and New Testaments.
(2) To understand the various ideas of the biblical authors and compilers in the context of their social backgrounds.
(3) To understand the ideas attributed to the major biblical characters in the context of their social backgrounds.
(4) To understand the process of separation and independence of Christianity from Judaism from both ideological and political perspectives.
