Outline (in English)

(Course outline)
This course aims to improve the research ability of modern Japanese history. You will make presentations and hold discussions based on their own research interests and themes. You will eventually acquire the abilities needed to complete your master's thesis.
(Learning Objectives)
By the end of the course, students should be able to do the followings:
-A.Understanding the latest research trends related to modern Japanese history.
-B.Create an original research theme.
-C.Complete a high-level dissertation.
(Learning activities outside of classroom)
Before/after each class meeting, students will be expected to spend four hours to understand the course content.
