Outline (in English)

Lecture Title: Reading Forster's Howards End
We will read E. M. Forster's Howards End in relation to the historical context of its time. We will then read representative critical essays written in that direction.

Learning activities outside of classroom: Before/after each class meeting, students will be expected to spend four hours to understand the course content.

Grading Criteria/Policies: Your overall grade in the class will be decided based on the following: in-class contribution (50%), final report (50%).
