Outline (in English)

【Course outline】
The purpose of this course is to enable students to understand the contents of the ”Critique of Judgment” and to explain the significance of this book in Kant's critical philosophy and its issues today. In addition, the aim of this lecture is for students to understand the connection between the historical and contemporary significance of Kant's critical philosophy.

【Learning Objectives】
To understand the content and significance of the Critique of Judgment.
To be able to apply the understanding of the ideas in "Critique of Judgment" to develop philosophical thinking in accordance with their own interests.

【Learning activities outside of classroom】
The class will be conducted both online and face-to-face, and the time and format will be adjusted according to the needs of the students.
In each class, a presenter will be assigned to write a report on the contents and to do a close reading of the text, and we will try to understand the contents and achieve the objectives through mutual questions and answers. In addition, students will be asked to submit reaction papers, and feedback will be given in class.

【Grading Criteria / Policy】
Report and presentation of the translation and its contents in each class (50%), A report at the end of the semester (50%).
