Outline (in English)
The aim of this seminar is to Read The Experience of Freedom (1988) of Jean-Luc Nancy. We will study key concepts of Nancy's philosophy, such as "sharing" and "community", and discuss the limits, conditions, and possibilities of experiences of being free, thinking freely, and speaking freely.
At the end of the course, students are expected to get a certain level of understanding of the basic issues in Nancy's philosophy and the conceptual expansions of his idea of "experience of freedom".
Before/after each class meeting, students will be expected to spend four hours to understand the course content.
Evaluation is based on class presentation and participation (70%) and end-of-term reports (30%).

授業の概要と目的（何を学ぶか）Outline and objectives
フランスの哲学者ジャン＝リュック・ナンシーの『自由の経験』（1988）を読む。分有や共同体などといったナンシー哲学の鍵概念を学びながら、自由であること、自由に思考すること、自由に（ついて）語ること、これらの経験の限界や条件、可能性について考察する。
到達目標Goal
・ナンシーの「自由の経験」に関する考え方や概念の拡がりを学び、それを通じて、現代哲学における主体論の基礎的な論点を一定程度の水準で理解する。
・レポートや発表を通じて、学んだ知見を適切な形で報告・論述できるようになる。
