(Course outline)
The form of society that is required is seeking new systems through changes in values and diversification. And, responding to many difficult problems and challenges, such as natural disasters and the rise of coronavirus infection, the declining birthrate and the rapid digitalization, has created the need for new policy developments that are independent of the conventional system. "Sharing Society" are efforts to solve various problems by actively engaging and collaborating with society.
The aim of this course is to help students acquire understanding the “Sharing Society” as new policy development.

(Learning Objectives)
The goals of this course are to understand the role of the national / local government, economy, and society through analyzing cases of the “Sharing Society”.
"Sharing Society" requires a lot of people's activity. In the sense that the discussion on how people interact is universal, we think it will be widely useful to each student with a variety of research subjects. Therefore, not only master's students, but also doctoral students will be able to participate in this class.

(Learning activities outside of classroom)
Before each class meeting, students will be expected to have read the relevant chapters from the text. Your required study time is at least two hours for each class meeting.

(Grading Criteria /Policy)
Final grade will be calculated according to the following process term-end examination (report) (50%), and in-class contribution (50%).
