Outline (in English)

Outline and objectives
We read the original novel after having watched movie work that filmized as "Contemporary Japanese literature". I select from the following 6 works in 2021.
We compare movie expression with the literature expression including the same story contents, we are analyzing peculiar expressin words and movies.

We will read through the original novels after watching films based on contemporary Japanese literature. We plan to highlight the following 6 titles after carefully selecting from the works released in 2021.
By comparing and analyzing literary expressions and visual expressions of the same story events, we will deepen our thoughts about specific expressions and techniques of the book and film media. We aim to acquire the ability to read novels from the perspective of "what literature-specific expressions are."

Reading novels in a variety of genres representing contemporary Japanese literature, you will be able to extract, organize, analyze, and express in their own words various elements from the works as complex linguistic structures.

Please read the works carefully, take notes on what you notice, and summarize your questions.

Grading will be decided based on report 100%.
