Outline (in English)
<Course outline>
The aim of this course is to help students acquire that complete the on-campus prize thesis on the theme of social issues of interest, and then supplement and revise it to write a graduation thesis.
<Learning Objectives>
By the end of the course, students should be able to do the followings:
Proceeding with the research according to the concept of the dissertation, and after presentations and discussions in specialized exercises, lead to the completion of the on-campus prize thesis and the graduation thesis.
<Learning activities outside of classroom>
Before/after each class meeting, students will be expected to spend four hours to understand the course content.
<Grading Criteria /Policy>
Your overall grade in the class will be decided based on the following
Short reports: 70%, in class contribution: 30%

関心のある社会的な課題をテーマとして、学内懸賞論文を完成させ、さらにそれを補足修正して卒業論文を書き上げる。
到達目標Goal
論文の構想に沿って調査を進め、専門演習での発表・議論を経て、学内懸賞論文と卒業論文の完成に導くことを目標とする。

各自、定期的にメンバーの前でプレゼンテーションして意見交換する。その討議を踏まえて更なる調査・検討を進め、研究論文を形作っていく。
課題の事前提出・フィードバックは「学習支援システム」を通じて行う予定である。

授業時間外の学習（準備学習・復習・宿題等）Work to be done outside of class (preparation, etc.)
履修メンバーに取り組んでいる内容が伝わりやすいように、発表用の資料を作成したり、その方法を工夫することが求められる。演習後には、教員やメンバーから受けた助言やコメントに基づき改善することが求められる。本授業の準備学習・復習時間は各2時間を標準とする。

演習での報告（70％）や議論など（30％）を総合的に判断して評価する。

まちづくりプランナーとして地域社会のデザイン・コーディネートに24年間関わり、市民活動を企画運営してきた経験に基づき、フィールドワークと政策提言を企画する術について授業で紹介する。
