Outline (in English)

The child psychiatry is a relatively new field established in the 1950s. It is not necessarily appropriate to understand all deviation from normal mental development as a disease. But nevertheless, an international criterion of diagnosis and classification is currently available. We should learn about pathology and the treatment of all disorders respectively. In addition, we must understand child development and adolescence. Before/after each class meeting, students will be expected to spend four hours to understand the course content. Your overall grade in the class will be decided based on the following. Term-end examination: 80%、Short reports : 20%
