授業の概要と目的（何を学ぶか）Outline and objectives
The aim of this course is to develop the listening and speaking
proficiency of students by way of a series of assigned tasks done
in-class as well as after, recorded or live, but online.
There are 14 classes in this semester. 7 of them will be conducted online, 7 of them will be face to face classes.
到達目標Goal
At the end of this course, students are expected to be able to
listen to, watch, deliver and evaluate a speech presentation in
English. They are all integrated in the sense that the purpose
of listening to and watching examples of good presentations
is to learn from them the best practices of how to deliver an
effective presentation.

Lecture-training, participant observation application and evaluation,
question and answer. Feedback can be given by the teacher and by students. Students can give feedback in their groups. Each group can give oral and written feedback. Students can practice their speeches in groups.

Students should spend an hour or two reviewing the previous lesson and looking at the topic of the next lesson. They should start writing the speech for the next lesson since there is not enough time during class to finish writing.
