This course aims to help (pre-) intermediate level students of Japanese improve their listening and speaking skills needed in an ordinary conversation. In this course, students will learn various colloquial expressions and how to use them properly.

By the end of the course, students should be able to do the following:
- use various verbal expressions properly depending on the situation,
- understand various verbal expressions used by other people adequately and make them their own.

Classes will be conducted mainly with various listening tasks and creating conversational scripts. For review and assessment, students will take speaking (role-play) tests. Submissions and feedback of assignments will be done through Hoppii or Google Classroom.
