成績評価の方法と基準Grading criteria
All students will be graded on class attendance, classwork, attitude, weekly assignments, and the final examination.
50% Classwork and Participation, 30% Outside work, 20% Final Examination.
*Student Classroom Evaluation: All students will be evaluated weekly in class for overall classroom work and interaction. Non-active participation or sleeping in class is not allowed and will seriously hurt final grade evaluation. Attendance is also very important in order to receive a passing grade. You must attend class every week and be active in training.
学生の意見等からの気づきChanges following student comments
I will take into strong consideration student comments on the semester surveys. As a result of last year's surveys, I have made a number of changes in my course. If a student tries his or her best despite limitations in ability, I will take this into strong consideration during final grading. However, perfect or near-perfect attendance is necessary. Chronic absences will hurt your overall grade.
