Outline (in English)

This course deals with Greek tragedy, Aristotle's Poetics, Nietzsche's The Birth of Tragedy, etc.
The culture of human beings was once restricted by mother nature. Humans, however, resolved those restrictions one by one over time eventually removing all of them by using the natural sciences. A.I. might be one of the results of such processes.
What was that restriction in ancient Greek? It was the law and order created by gods and goddesses. Humans were ruled by the order, accepted it, but eventually resisted and tried to create their own. Greek tragedy attempts to portray those struggles, and those struggles become the basis of theatricals.
This very drama is the central theme of this course.
