Outline (in English)

Course outline
The purpose of this class is to learn the observation viewpoints and methods of relics, which are the basic materials of archaeology. In the second half, stone tools will be used as teaching materials.
Learning objectives
Students analyze materials related to each assignment and method examined in the spring semester. The purpose of this study is to gain a deeper understanding of the effectiveness of research methods.
Learning activities outside of classroom
Preparation and review time for this class is 2 hours each. Students are asked to read through texts and related papers, and to examine their own archaeological materials.
Grading criteria/policy
Grades are judged based on the presentation (50%) and the report (50%).
