Outline (in English)

【授業の概要(Course outline)】
This course will provide an Introduction to Industrial and Organizational Psychology, a scientific discipline that studies human behavior in the workplace.

【到達目標(Learning Objectives)】
The goal of this course to engage students in thinking critically about the needs of workplaces and understand how the science of Industrial and Organizational Psychology helps address those needs. Students will also develop skills for analyzing and integrating social phenomena from the perspective of Industrial and Organizational psychology.

【授業時間外の学習(Learning activities outside of classroom)】
Before each class meeting, students will be expected to have read the relevant paper(s) which is assigned before class.
Before/after each class meeting, students will be expected to spend two hours to understand the course content.

【成績評価の方法と基準(Grading Criteria /Policy)】
Your overall grade in the class will be decided based on the following:
in class contribution 30%
In-class presentation on the assigned paper 30%
Final report 40%
