Outline (in English)
The study of criminal law refers to the constitutive elements of an offense and the accurate punishment. The criminal offenses study if the study of the former, aka understanding the basic elements of criminal offenses or commun elements, and the specific elements. Any offense, for exemple, murder or theft has specificities studied in special criminal law, but also commun elements studied in this class of general criminal law.
This class focuses on those commun elements, by studying the section of the law, the doctrinal discussions and the related jurisprudence.

犯罪論について、基本的な理解を得ることを目的とする。
犯罪論とは、犯罪の一般的成立要件を検討する分野である。
例えば、殺人罪、窃盗罪が、どのような要件の下で成立するのかに関する一般論を、判例、学説を踏まえて検討する。

犯罪論では、犯罪の定義（構成要件に該当する行為であって、違法、かつ有責なもの）の意義を、具体的な事例を通じて学習する。
その際には、関連する、判例、学説を十分に考慮する。
【成績評価基準】Grading criteria
最終成績は単位修得試験により評価するが、評価の際は先に提出されたリポートの内容を考慮する。
