Outline (in English)

This course introduces an overview of the measures and characteristics of hazards (chemical substances, natural poisons, microorganisms, radioactivity etc.), and also the concept of risk analysis important for securing food safety. The aim of this course is to help students deepen the understanding of food safety and food security, based on these knowledge.
Final grade will be calculated according to the following process. Each lecture's short report (20%), Attendance rate for all lectures (40%) and a final comprehensive report (40%).
