Outline (in English)

The modern society is directly connected with the global environment beyond national borders and thus our every-day life heavily depends upon benefits from space technology. The most challenging quests in science of this century such as origins and principals of life and the Universe itself also require deep exploration of space. This class aims students to learn fundamental concepts of space and role of space engineering in our modern society, to understand introductory knowledges in the whole disciplines of space engineering, and to acquire basic skills for planning and executing actual space projects, which will be applicable to many other disciplines.
