Outline (in English)

【Course outline】
This course deals with the Freud’s psychoanalytic theory, which is a system of scientific hypotheses. Psychodynamic theory is a notion which demonstrates the unconscious state of mind of human being. The aim of this lecture is to understand the state of the mind, through learning about discovery of unconsciousness, structural point of view, psychosexual development, parent-child relationship, and therapeutic relationship.
【Learning objectives】
The goal of this course is to understand the psychoanalytic theory in the level of everyday life.
【Learning activities outside the classroom】
Attending this course, try to observe your emotion and thought in everyday life. It may leads to understanding yourself. Before/after each class meeting, students will be expected to spend two hours each to understand the course content.
【Grading criteria/policy】
Grading will be decided based on term-end examination (70%), in-classroom contribution (including reaction paper)(30%).
