Outline (in English)
In first semester, students found their "English voice" - the style of speaking they use when speaking in English. In second semester, we will build upon that to learn how to engage in more complicated debate and dialogue.

Each week we will give presentations, and then engage in discussions in small groups based. Students will be evaluated on the clarity of their arguments and ideas, and on their engagement and motivation.
Homework: Students will write short essays for homework each week. These essays will require research into the topic assigned. Second semester topics will be more detailed than first semester, and will deal with academic issues in sociology.
Classwork: Students will use their essays to help them have discussions in groups. At the end of each class, the students will work together to find the main points.
Final Assignment: Students will create a full presentation that they will give in front of the class. This will lead to a debate with the rest of the class.
Suggestions, study advice and other feedback will be given weekly.
