This course focuses on space as a medium and attempts to grasp the phenomena that occur in diverse spaces and the activities that are performed in these spaces. This course aims to understand the theoretical background in understanding these phenomena. For that purpose, students overview the methods of acquiring, modeling, and simulating the state of space from the viewpoint of information, and understand the analytical methods.

The goal of this course is as follows:
(1) To understand that there are various spaces as media,
(2) To understand the characteristics of each space,
(3) To understand the informatization methods of space,
(4) To understand how to model and simulate spaces,
(5) To understand how to analyze the obtained information.

This course progresses on the premise that students have reviewed the previous contents until they understand the contents before the next class. The standard preparation and review time is 2 hours each.

The following three assignments will be made: report assignment (50%), midterm assignment (20%), and final assignment (30%). The degree of goal achievement will be evaluated holistically.
