Outline (in English)

Bookkeeping is a systematic process of recording economic activities or
events concerning the business with monetary unit, and reporting the results in financial statements. This course introduces the method how to record economic activities or events and prepare financial statements.
At the end of the course, students are expected to be able to convert corporate transactions to financial statements according to the accounting standards. Students' overall grade in the class will be decided based on the following, (a)4 times of quiz (mini test): 20%, (b)2 times of mid-term exam: 30%, 2 times of term-end exam: 50%.
