The objective of this course is to prepare students for situations in their future careers in which they need to interact successfully with people from other cultures in business situations.

This course introduces students to five advanced levels of speech communication: (1) debate; (2) discussion; (3) negotiation theory; (4) intercultural communication; and (5) international management.

The goal of this course is to help students improve their English communication skills at an advanced level.

テキスト(教科書)Textbooks
There is no textbook. Materials will be provided by the professor for the intercultural communication and intercultural negotiations sections. Students will select their own topics for the debates and discussions, and learn basic research skills for gathering their own materials.

成績評価の方法と基準Grading criteria
Students will be evaluated on the basis of the assignments they return to me (100%). It is important that you submit all assignments by the deadline so that I have enough time to read and mark them. Grades will be reduced if you submit the assignments late.
