Outline (in English)

【授業の概要(Course Outline)】
This seminar is designed to facilitate the development of ideas for the doctoral dissertation. While taking this course, students are expected to conduct a literature survey, acquire the requisite methodology, and also make part of future dissertation into a publishable journal article.

【到達目標(Learning Objectives)】
They are twofold:
1. to be able to write up your own doctoral dissertation.
2. to start writing a paper in your relevant field.

【授業時間外の学習(Learning Activities Outside of Classroom)】
Study, read, and actively publicise and exchange ideas.

【成績評価の方法と基準(Grading Criteria/Policy)】
Daily attitude toward own research topic (50%) and steady progress in writing academic papers and doctoral dissertation (50%) are considered as criteria for the grade of this course. Students who successfully achieve 60% or more of goals will be able to earn a passing grade for the course.
