Outline (in English)
The aim of this course is to help students acquire regional issues with a focus on resources.
The goals of this course are to provide an overview of various natural resources and an understanding of the regional problems they cause.
Students are expected to have completed the required assignments after each class. Study time will be a minimum of 4 hours per class.
Your overall grade in the class will be decided based on the following
Term-end examination: 50%, in class contribution: 50%.

授業の概要と目的（何を学ぶか）Outline and objectives
本講義では人間が活動するにあたって欠かせない様々な資源を切り口として、地域の概況や諸課題について明らかにしていく。
到達目標Goal
世界各地の人間活動の地域性についての理解を深めることを目標とする。ただし単に地域ごとにその特徴をみていくのではなく、様々な資源を切り口として、その偏在性やそのメカニズム、そこから派生する経済活動などについて多角的に検討していく。

授業は教室での講義を基本とし、毎回の授業でリアクションペーパーの提出を求める。学期末にはまとめとして試験を行う。

予習は求めない。毎講義ごとに前回の復習を簡単に行うが、理解を深めるためにも、各自が積極的に復習をしてほしい。本授業の復習時間は、各4時間を標準とする。

成績評価の方法と基準Grading criteria
毎回のリアクションペーパー(50%)、学期末の試験(50%)。

我々の生活など、身近な視点との関連について注意を払いながら、それぞれの資源の特性などについて紹介していきたい。
学生が準備すべき機器他Equipment student needs to prepare
授業内で使用するスライドは電子データで配布する。そのためPDF形式のファイルを閲覧・書き込みできるタブレットやノートPCなどの機器が授業中に手元にあるとよい（必須ではない）。
