Outline (in English)

   The purpose of organizational management is to achieve the organizational goal. The ultimate goal of an organization should be to create new value and provide it to society and the market or even to create new markets. This involves a variety of processes, including individual creativity and critical thinking, as well as team members drawing on each other's abilities and making effective presentations.
   In this course, participants will experience being both the manager and the managed in a small organization (team) and plan a human resource development method that can be of new value in terms of human resource management in an organization. The planning will be based on literature review, questionnaires, interview surveys, and analysis of the results, and will be conducted in as scientific a manner as possible. Teams will also consider how to effectively communicate the content of their plans and make presentations. Through these activities, participants will gain a comprehensive and active understanding of the field of human resource management in the organizational management.
   The following three goals are intended for participants in this course:
(1) Learn and deepen understanding of human resource management in organizations through hands-on experience.
(2) Learn about various human resource development programs based on research and plan innovative programs while exercising creativity.
(3) Experience the synergy effects that occur within a team while planning and presenting projects that would be impossible to accomplish individually.
   The students are expected to read the materials for each class beforehand and prepare for team-discussions during the class. Preparatory study and review time for this class are 2 hours each. Students' grades will be based on the following items: reflection sheet (40%), research report (20%), presentation (20%), and reflection essay (20%).
