Outline (in English)

The purpose of organizational management is to achieve the organizational goal. The ultimate goal of an organization should be to create new value and provide it to society and the market or even to create new markets. This involves a variety of processes, including individual creativity and critical thinking, as well as team members drawing on each other's abilities and making effective presentations.
In this course, participants will experience being both the manager and the managed in a small organization (team), and plan a product or service that could be of new value to society through cooperation with others. Planning will be conducted using scientific methods as much as possible, based on literature surveys, questionnaires, interview surveys, and analysis of the results. In addition, the team will consider how to communicate the content of the plan and present it effectively.
The following three goals are intended for participants in this course:
(1) Learn and deepen their understanding of organizational management through hands-on experience.
(2) To develop an understanding of a specific market based on simulated research and to create new value through creativity.
(3) Plan and present products and services that would be impossible to achieve individually while experiencing the synergies that arise within a team.
The students are expected to read the materials for each class beforehand and prepare for team-discussions during the class. Preparatory study and review time for this class are 2 hours each. Students' grades will be based on the following items: reflection sheet (40%), research report (20%), presentation (20%), and reflection essay (20%).
