Outline (in English)

【Course outline】
It is self-evident that Spanish is indispensable in order to understand today’s world. However, one could say that still for many Japanese people Spanish-speaking world’s affairs are not familiar enough, and thus many of the possibilities hidden behind it remain unknown.
In order to fulfil this gap, this class aims not only to steadily acquire an elementary knowledge of Spanish, but also to make a chance to have interest in the Spanish-speaking societies and cultures.
In this class, not only will grammar be adequately and easily explained, but also vocabulary used in everyday life will be extensively provided. As for class tasks, the professor will not decide their content unilaterally; instead, students will have plenty of flexibility to choose them based in their personal needs and interests.
Grading criteria prioritizes student’s continuous effort and ambition to learn, so self-study and class attitude will be highly considered.

【Learning Objectives】
1. Acquire an elementary knowledge of Spanish language (CEFR A2 level).
2. Find motivation so as to continue having interest in Spanish and the Spanish-speaking world’s society and culture and society.

【Learning activities outside of classroom】
