Students are expected to develop all four skills further, with the main focus on reading, through tasks such as presentation and discussion.
Previewing the textbook for at least 2 hours before the class.
Doing homework for at least 2 hours after the class.

授業の概要と目的（何を学ぶか）Outline and objectives
リーディングを軸に語彙、内容把握、要約の問題を解くことを通して英文理解を図ります。同時に文化理解的要素を含め議論できること、さらには自分の意見をまとめ、書くことで４技能を伸ばすことを目指します。
到達目標Goal
多量の英文を読んで情報を得られるようになること、英語を使ってその情報を口頭で報告できるようになること、他の学生と意見を交換して合意形成ができるようになること、および個人としての意見を英語で論理的に書けるようになることが目標です。
