Outline (in English)

(Course outline)
Regarding waste management and recycling, which are essential to maintaining healthy social activities, students will learn about the changes in the system to deal with various problems and the various efforts to solve problems.
(Learning Objectives)
The goals of this course are to understand followings
-A. Understand the issues surrounding waste management and recycling and the various efforts to solve them.
-B. Understand the direction of future resource recycling efforts that will lead to a recycling-oriented society and, ultimately, a decarbonized society.
-C. Understand the importance of disaster preparedness through responding to the Great East Japan Earthquake.

Students will be expected to look for and study the related information about the matter interested in through lectures.
(Grading Criteria /Policy)
Your overall grade in the class will be decided based on the following
Term-end examination: 60%, in class contribution: 40%
