Outline (in English)

The aim of this course is to deepen understanding of the roles and activities of Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), which undertakes Japan’s ODA activities, ODA, some development assistance issues and so on. Nearly half of this class will be delivered by a few JICA staffs.
In average, your study time outside of each class will be about 4 hours. Actual needed time will be varied depending on various elements especially when each student is assigned and scheduled presentations.
Grading will be decided based on presentations (50%), and in-class contribution (50%).
