Outline (in English)

【授業の概要(Course Outline)】
This seminar is designed to facilitate the development of teaching skills and research skills. Students are expected to comment on the presentations given by Masters students, as well as to present their Prior research analysis and rough design of their dissertations.

【到達目標(Learning Objectives)】
Three objectives:
1. You are able to grasp the problems and logic of other students' works and to make appropriate comments.
2. You are able to make comments on other students' works from the perspective of 'practical wisdom'.
3. You are able to write up the prior research analysis to show your progress and originality.

【授業時間外の学習(Learning Activities Outside of Classroom)】
You are required to submit report about presentations made in Intercultural Communication Collaborate Research B as well as Thesis Interim Presentations (TIP). According to the current government requirements, you are expected to 'theoretically' spend four hours or more for each class session.

【成績評価の方法と基準(Grading Criteria/Policy)】
- Comment sheets submitted: 20%
- Prior research analysis: 80% (its content: 40%, presentations given in TIP: 40%)
*Students who successfully achieve 60% or more of goals will be able to earn a passing grade for the course.
