Outline (in English)

【授業の概要(Course Outline)】
This seminar is designed to assist in research for the dissertation. While taking this course, students are expected to make another part of their dissertation into a journal article for publication.

【到達目標(Learning Objectives)】
They are twofold:
1. to be able to write up your own doctoral dissertation.
2. to start writing another paper in your relevant field.

【授業時間外の学習(Learning Activities Outside of Classroom)】
Study, read, and actively publicise and exchange ideas.

【成績評価の方法と基準(Grading Criteria/Policy)】
Daily attitude toward own research topic (50%) and steady progress in writing academic papers and doctoral dissertation (50%) are considered as criteria for the grade of this course. Students who successfully achieve 60% or more of goals will be able to earn a passing grade for the course.
