Outline (in English)

《Course outline》
This course is designed to provide students with a basic understanding of Islam and Muslims, and intercultural perspectives to other religions and denominations.

《Learning Objectives》
Students will gain the basic knowledge of religion, history, society and culture of Islam and Muslims, the intercultural perspectives between different religions and denominations, and the ability of express your ideas accurately in reaction papers and term-end report.

《Learning activities outside of classroom》
Students will be expected to have completed the required assignments before and after each class meeting. Your study time will be more than four hours for a class.

《Grading Criteria / Policy》
Your overall grade in the class will be decided based on the following: reaction papers (40%), and term-end report (60%).
