Outline (in English)

【Outline and objectives】
In today's information society, not only objects but also knowledge and information itself have value, and this trend is increasing with the spread of digital society and the Internet. This trend is increasing with the spread of digital society and the Internet. Accordingly, the handling of information not only in the real world but also in the digital world and the Internet has been recognized as an issue of "information ethics" and "public relations" (the construction of ideal relationships between subjects and the public).

In this class, students will learn the basic concepts of "information ethics" and "public relations" related to the works and artists in the world and Japanese subcultures since the 20th century, such as popular music and movies, and their backgrounds, while also participating in discussions, debates, etc. Discussions and debates will also be held.

At the end of the course, students are expected to examine information ethics and public relations.

【Learning activities outside of classroom】

Students will be expected to have completed the required assignments after each class meeting. Your study time will be more than two hours for a class.

Your overall grade in the class will be decided based on the following
Short reports : 60%、in class contribution: 40%
