Outline (in English)
The overall goal of this class is to apply the basic knowledge of grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation gained in the first semester while improving all aspects of the four language skills: listening, reading, speaking, and writing, and to develop study habits and strategies eventually to acquire the "ability to learn anything."

この授業の全般的な目標は、英語理解1で学んだ文法、語彙、発音の基礎知識を応用し、「聞く」「読む」「話す」「書く」の4技能を含む英語力のあらゆる側面を向上させ、最終的には「何でも学ぶ力」を身につけるための学習習慣とストラテジーを身につけることです。

成績評価の方法と基準Grading criteria
前提条件:
1/3の欠席でE評価となる。最大4回の欠席まで許される。
毎週約1時間の準備および/または外部の課題 Academic ExpressのSelected Trainingを終えて、TOEICを受験しないとないと単位は認定されない。
英語の理解度及び学習の進捗を追跡するために、毎クラスで以下の項目についての小テストを1つ以上課す。その累積スコアによって成績評価を算出する。欠席した場合、当日課された小テストからのポイントと学ぶ機会を失う。
Vocabulary(語彙): 20%
Grammar(文法): 20%
Listening(リスニング): 20%
Speaking(スピーキング): 10%
Reading(リーディング): 20%
10月受験のTOEICの成績:10%
